Walker Kessler is having a phenomenal rookie season. The rookie from Auburn is crushing it in March. He is averaging nearly 12 points and 12 rebounds. The time has come for us to get with the flow and take advantage of his arrival.
Utah will be without Jordan Clarkson tonight and I currently see Lauri Markkanen as doubtful. Both of them account for about 17 field goal attempts per game, which opens up 34 shot attempts on average for others. We know that THT and Agbaji will also see an increased load, but Kessler should certainly be more utilized on offense.
Kessler has hit this o23.5 number in 7 of his last 10 games, among those the misses were 23, 21, and 17. The seven-footer gets a matchup tonight against a Sacramento team struggling against big men lately. The Kings have played nine games in the month of March, and have seen starting big men hit their over for PRA in eight of those games.
This will likely be a bet we have to sweat, but if this one stays close, I love our chances. Sacramento is only a five-point favorite, so Vegas thinks one remains competitive. We really love to see the game total of 240.
