Sabonis isn’t a guy we usually bet on, I’m not sure why, though, because he’s a great player. If there was ever a night to bet on him, though, this feels like the time.
Sabonis can do a little bit of everything. All we care about tonight is scoring, though. Phoenix will be without Ayton yet again, which will open the door for Sabonis to abuse Biyombo or Landale. We just saw Anthony Davis score at will against them the other night.
Sabonis has 20+ points in 10 of his last 17 games. Against Phoenix, he is averaging 19.3 this season in three games, but all of those were against a tougher defender in Ayton. Tonight I really do expect him to take advantage of the backup big men. Tonight's total is 240, and the Kings are home favorites. Sacramento has an implied 123 points, and if that’s the case, I like Sabonis to account for at least 20 of them. We’ll keep this one nice and brief so we can get it out as quickly as possible; I expect some movement here. Let's roll!
