This is an unusual market compared to what we normally bet on. What we need here is for New Orleans to lead after each quarter. This can be found on DK under the “Game Props” section. This is also available on FanDuel under “Popular” and then select “Winning At End Of Every Quarter”.
This bet is simple. Portland has given up on the season. Dame is shut down for the remainder of the year, and Grant, Simons, and Nurkic are likely shut down too. A lineup of Arcidiacono, Sharpe, Thybulle, Watford, and Eubanks is less than scary. This team just wants to improve their lottery odds.
New Orleans needs this win. The Pelicans stand 37-37 and must secure a home play-in game at the bare minimum. This team is playing meaningful basketball and are a double-digit favorite here for a reason. They should come out hot and not look back at any point throughout this game.
The popular plays today will be focused on the Embiid/Jokic matchup. I know Embiid will come out motivated, but it normally falls apart when the whole world is on one play.
