The Mavericks lost another game last night to the Miami Heat. Things are getting really bad for Dallas. Kyrie Irving is one of the reasons. Irving only attempted four threes last night despite taking 17 shots. In March, he shot 40% from three, but the volume isn't there anymore. He's only attempted 13 threes over his last three games. Meanwhile, Luka Doncic is not getting help from Irving or anyone else on the team. He played 45 minutes against the Heat last night, made 17 of 25 shots, and still, the Mavericks lost. In that game, he had only eight assists despite playing 45 minutes in that game. Finally, Dejounte Murray of the Hawks averaged 1.1 threes per game in March. He shot just 26.4% from deep in the month. He's averaged over 36 minutes a night and doesn't attempt many threes or make many threes.

He's only earned seven or more assists in 42% of games this season. Meanwhile, in March, he averaged 5.7 rebounds per game. He's hit six or more rebounds in 65% of games this season. He's also reached this number in 70% of his last 20 games. So he's been even better than his season average over the last 20-game sample size. And with the entire Warriors group back, other than Wiggins, Draymond Green should start to benefit. He's added nine or more points in three of his last five games and in 55% of his last 20 games. He wasn't efficient against the Spurs last time out, but in March, he shot over 55% from the field and attempted over seven shots per game. Four makes and a trip to the foul line would do the trick.
