The Nuggets have locked up the No. 1 seed in the West, led by two-time MVP Nikola Jokic, who has turned in an outstanding year once again this season. Other guys have really stepped up for the Nuggets this year, including Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., who have both been able to stay healthy this year.
Health for the Nuggets was an issue last season, but fortunately, they have been able to stay healthy this year. Nikola Jokic has missed the last few games, but the team has said it is just a protocol and that Jokic will be fully healthy for the playoffs. Jokic is listed as questionable for tonight’s game.

Phoenix is currently the favorite to come out of the Western Conference. On paper, there is no team more talented than the Suns, headlined by Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. As if that was not enough, the Suns are also led by future Hall of Famer Chris Paul, who is in search of his first NBA title this year.
Durant has seen limited action as a Sun, but he is back on the court and will be good to go for the playoff run. This game still is meaningful to the Suns tonight, who enter tonight’s name as the number four seed in the West. If Phoenix can win this game tonight, they will look up the four seed which means that they will play their first playoff series at home.
I will back the Suns on the spread tonight. This line makes me feel as if Jokic will not play tonight, and I would not be shocked if we saw a couple of other Nuggets players sit out tonight. The Suns will be fired up tonight, knowing what’s at stake, and I think their energy will be too much for the Nuggets to keep pace with.
