Minnesota comes into this game fresh off an impressive win Friday night over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The win earned the Wolves an opportunity to pull off the massive upset and knock out the number one-seeded Denver Nuggets.

Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction
Denver comes into this series struggling a bit down the line. The Nuggets ended their season just 5-5 in their last ten games, but it is worth noting that Nikola Jokic missed multiple games during that stretch. The Nuggets wanted to rest Jokic up for the postseason, so expect him to be fresh and ready to go tonight.
Jokic is the star of this team, but the other guys have really stepped up this season for the Nuggets, and that’s a huge reason why they earned themselves the number-one seed. Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. were both injured in the playoffs a season ago, but this year, they produced at a high level and will be good to go for this series.
Minnesota, meanwhile, was led by a strong effort from former number-one overall pick Anthony Edwards. Edwards led the team in scoring 24.6 points per game. Karl-Anthony Towns has also produced at a high level since returning from injury. Towns is a guy that a lot of people do not give enough credit to, and when he is on his game, he is one of the most talented big men in the league. Minnesota will look to continue their strong play with a road win tonight.
I am turning to a prop in this game. I am going to take Jamal Murday over 21.5 points. Murray has averaged 23.0 points per game in his last six matchups against the Wolves, and he did fly over this number in their last meeting scoring twenty-eight points.
Minnesota has the size in the paint, so I expect it to be a bit more difficult for Jokic to score tonight. I do think that this will open up more opportunities for Murray, and I expect his usage to be high tonight. Let’s cash this in to close the day!
