Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction
It was a back-and-forth game all the way, but as they have done so many times this season, the Kings clutched up late, and they were able to do enough down the stretch to pull off an electric win. De'Aaron Fox did what he has done all season long and steeped up when the lights were the brightest. Fox ended the game with 38 points and five assists. He's having a career year, and in my eyes, he is a top-ten player in basketball right now.
Golden State, meanwhile, continued its struggles on the road. The Warriors are now 11-31 this year away from home, and they know that if they have any chance of pulling off a repeat, they will have to right their wrongs sooner than later on the road. Steph Curry was not to blame for the Warrior's loss as he ended the game with a team-high thirty points shooting eleven from twenty from the floor.
Despite the Game 1 loss, you know that the Warriors are still confident that they will win this series. This team has played in every type of environment and with their backs against the wall plenty of times. This is a team that has won four NBA Championships with Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, so expect them to be ready to go for tonight’s game.
I am going to back the road team tonight and take the Warriors on the short moneyline. Sacramento was my max play on Saturday, but I love this bounce-back spot for the Warriors tonight. I expect Steve Kerr to put together a strong game plan that will try and fake the ball out of the hands of Fox early in possessions.
I also expect the Warriors to shoot the basketball much better from three tonight, as they went just 16-50 last game from three. This team is too talented to shoot that poorly again tonight. I love the Warriors to even the series and get a much-needed road win tonight!
