Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks Prediction

From the Knicks' point of view, even if they lose this game tonight, they have done their job. New York needed to steal one road game and put themselves in a good position for when they return to the Garden, but now tonight, they are playing with house money with an opportunity to go up 2-0.

The stars of this Knicks team have been Jalen Brunson and Jalen Randle. Brunson was signed in the off-season to a max contract, and at the time, there were a lot of people out there who said the guard was severely overpaid. Brunson has silenced his critics this year, turning in an all-star caliber season.

Cleveland, meanwhile, has been led by all-star Donovan Mitchell, who was acquired in the off-season from the Utah Jazz. The off-season move made Cleveland one of the best teams in the East, and they displayed that this season. Darius Garland also produced at a high level this season, averaging 21.6 points per game. The Cavs come into play tonight as a 5.5-point favorite.

I am going to trust the home team to bounce back tonight and back the Cavs with the points. I would be shocked if the Cavs went down to 2-0 at home tonight. Cleveland could not have played much worse in Game 1, and the game still went down to the wire. I trust that they will come out with a chip on their shoulder and dominate this game from start to finish.

The Cavs were one of the best home teams in all of basketball this season, representing a home record of 31-10 this year. Lastly, the Knicks are the most popular bet of the day, and you all know I love to fade a heavy public dog. Let’s cash in!
