The defending champions find themselves down 0-2 early on in the playoffs, as the Warriors now travel back home to try and salvage the series against the young, up-and-coming Kings. Both cames have come down to the final few minutes, but the Kings have been impressive so far, and now the Warriors have their backs against the wall. The Warriors were a weak road team all season and incredible at home, so they must look to their strong play at home to even up the series. Unfortunately, they have to do it without Draymond Green in game three. Still, I think they can do it, and if they will, it will be behind a strong effort from the splash bros.

NBA Prop Picks Tonight - Kings vs. Warriors Game 3
The biggest storyline for game three is the loss of Draymond Green, who is suspended for this game after stomping on Damontas Sabonis when the two got tangled up late in game two. Green was obviously releasing some frustration, but the act got him a spot on the bench down 0-2 in the series. The Warriors must now adjust without his presence, as he was a facilitator on offense and a great defense piece down low. He also has a knack for getting in the other team's head. While he only averages 8.5 PPG, the loss certainly leaves a hole on the floor for the Warriors. With Green out, the splash brother's shooting will matter even more than ever.
Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry are one of the most notorious shooting duos of all time, dubbed "the splash brothers". The Kings have been making it a point to shut Curry down, as they have given him max attention and doubled him quite a bit. Klay has found his opportunities to score, and at home in this situation without Draymond, I expect Klay to have an even bigger role in this game. Klay has statistically been the best perimeter shooter for the Warriors in the series so far with eyes on Curry, as Curry went just 3/13 from outside in game two. Of course, his numbers will probably look a bit better in this game, but Klay has been hitting his number consistently.
Klay Thompson has made 5+ threes in nine straight games, including two five spots in the first two games of the series, going 5/10 in game two. In the last two seasons, Klay has hit 5+ threes in five of his seven games against the Kings. He has also hit 5+ threes in six of his last 10 home games. He shoots 42.4% from three at home and 39.6% on the road this season. All in all, this is a big game for the Warriors that they must win, so I expect them to look for one of their most reliable shooters often, especially with pressure on Curry. I expect Klay to continue to light it up from three in this series and hit 5+ again.
