The Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Lakers will clash from Crypto.com Arena on Monday night for a pivotal fourth game of this series. This series has not disappointed us so far, both on and off the court. Los Angeles won Game 1, led by a strong effort from role players Austin Reaves and Rui Huichimra. Memphis would follow that up with a gritty win in Game 2 in the absence of star Ja Morant. Game 3 was all Lakers from the tip as they took a 2-1 series lead.

Off the court, Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks made a statement that caught the eyes of many when he said LeBron James is “old” and he will not respect him until he drops 41 on him. James did not drop forty in Game 3, but he did drop 25 points and nine assists in the win. James also had some words for Brooks pre-game on Saturday night.
Memphis looked overmatched as the Lakers tied a playoff record for the largest first-quarter lead in postseason history. The Grizzlies did fight back in the second half to at least make the score respectable, but the game was never in question. Memphis is well aware of how crucial this game is tonight, and you have to expect a somewhat desperate effort from the young team. Los Angeles meanwhile realizes that with a win, they take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. Los Angeles enters play tonight as a five-point home favorite.
I am going to back the team that not many people want to back right now and put my money on the Memphis Grizzlies. In my option, this line overreacts to what we saw on Saturday night. On Saturday night Los Angeles was my max play, but this is a completely different game and situation tonight. I fully expect Memphis to come out with a desperate mindset and compete in this game from the tip. Outside of the first quarter Memphis was able to settle down and play their game on Saturday.
I see this game tonight being very back and forth tonight, which should be good for the underdog. Lastly, Los Angeles is a public darling tonight, with over 70 percent of the bets on their spread. This feels like a great buy-low spot for Memphis in a must-win spot tonight. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
