The Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics will clash from TD Garden tonight for Game 5 of this series. Atlanta was able to win Game 3 in Atlanta, but outside of that, this series has been all Celtics.

Boston Celtics vs. Atlanta Hawks Game 5 Prediction
Boston entered the postseason as the favorites to come out of the East, and they remain heady favorites to come out of the East, currently being priced at -105 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The star duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown has led Boston. Tatum and Brown have both been outstanding in the playoffs so far, but the Celtics' sights are set on something much bigger than just winning this first-round series against the Hawks.
Boston reached the finals a season ago, but the Golden State Warriors beat them in six games. Revenge will be on the minds of this Celtics team all postseason long.
Atlanta, meanwhile, will play this game tonight without one of their best players Dejounte Murray. Murray is averaging 25.3 points per game this series, which ranks second on the team only behind Trae Young. Murray bumped into an official after Game 4 and will be eligible to return in Game 6 if the Hawks can pull off the big upset tonight. Boston comes into this game as the heaviest favorite of round one, as they are a thirteen-point favorite tonight.
I am going to take the Hawks team total under 108 tonight. Boston is a team that, when locked in, is one of the best defensive teams in all of basketball. Atlanta has exceeded this total in the last two games, but they were held under this number in games one and two in Boston.
As I mentioned earlier in this article, Atlanta will play this game without Dejounte Murray, which is a huge loss offensively. I do not think that this team is deep enough to make up for Murray’s scoring. I expect the Celtics to roll in this game tonight and for them to hold the Hawks under this number. Let’s cash this in!
