Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics Game 3 Prediction
The 76ers stormed into Boston without their MVP in Game 1 and pulled off a stunning upset led by former MVP James Harden. Harden turned back the clock and dropped 48 points, including a crucial three late in the game to give the 76ers the lead.
Joel Embiid returned for Game 2, but things did not go as planned for the 76ers as Boston went on to win 121-87. Embiid himself struggled, shooting just 4-9 and ending the game with fifteen points. Some of that may have had to do with the injury he is playing through, but a lot of it also had to do with the score and his playing time being down.
Boston, meanwhile, used a well-balanced attack to get the win headlined by Jaylen Brown, who scored a team-high 25 points. Jayson Tatum turned in his worst performance of the playoffs scoring just seven points in the game. This game tonight could go a long way in determining who wins the series, as the Celtics enter as a 2.5-point favorite.
I found a prop for us that I love tonight, so let’s jump right into it. We will be taking Joel Embiid over 25.5 points. It is important to note that Embiid is not one hundred percent, but coming off a sluggish performance back at home, I expect Embiid to be much more aggressive in this spot tonight.
This is the two-time reigning scoring champion, and if he gets minutes tonight, I am extremely confident that he will clear this number in what should be a highly competitive game. Let’s cash this in!
