The Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns will clash from the desert on Friday night for a pivotal third game of this series. Entering the series, Phoenix was seen as the favorite despite the Nuggets being the number-one seed in the West. Denver has been underrated all season long, which you do not often say about a number-one team in their conference.

Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets Game 3 Prediction
The Nuggets took care of business on their home floor in Games 1 and 2, and they have an opportunity tonight to take complete control of this series. The stars have shined bright so far in the playoffs for the Nuggets as they have been led by two-time MVP Nikola Jokic and all-star guard Jamal Murray.
Phoenix, meanwhile, understands that this is a desperate spot. If the Suns do not win this game tonight, the series will be all but over. They are well aware that this will be no easy task, and they will play this game without future Hall of Fame guard Chris Paul. Paul sustained an injury late in the third quarter in game two and is slated to miss at least two games. That will force some other guys to step up tonight for the Suns, including guard Cam Payne who will likely start tonight in the absence of Paul.
I am going to trust the home team to take care of business tonight. I understand that a lot of people are not jumping at the opportunity to bet on the Suns based on their performance in games one and two, but this is all about the spot.
The Suns have played well on their home floor this season, going 28-13 overall in Phoenix. On the other side of things, the Nuggets were a sub-.500 road team this year going just 19-22 away from home. I believe that those trends continue tonight and that the Suns will get the cover.
