The Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets will meet up from the mile high for an all-important fifth game of this series. So far, this series has been fun, with the two teams splitting the first four games. Denver took care of business in Games 1 and 2, and the Suns had a strong answer in Games 3 and 4.

Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns Game 5 Prediction
Phoenix was one of the best home teams in basketball during the regular season, and that narrative has held true so far, as they are undefeated here in the playoffs at home. Their road woes, meanwhile, have continued, and they could not take advantage of a strong start to this series.
Phoenix has been led by the combination of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, which has been the best combination in basketball at the moment. Booker is putting up historic shooting numbers and has scored 83 points in the last two games. Durant, meanwhile, has combined for 75 over the last two games. There is no secret to the Sun's success at the moment, and even though the Nuggets know that it’s coming, that does not mean that you can stop it.
Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic is not to blame for the two losses, as he gave an outstanding performance in the Game 4 loss. Jokic ended the game with 53 points and 11 assists. He showed us why he has two MVPs to his credit and is hopeful that he can turn in a similar performance back at home tonight. Denver enters play as a 5.5-point favorite.
I am going to trust the home team and back the Nuggets on the spread tonight. Denver has shown us all season long that they are a completely different team on their home floor. We are 4-0 ATS in this series, and I feel as if this will be the perfect bounce-back spot tonight for the Nuggets.
The only way that the Suns can compete tonight is if Booker and Durant yet again combine for eighty points or more, which is something that is difficult to sustain. I also expect the Nugget's role players to perform much better at home tonight, as they struggled a bit in the last two games.
