Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors Game 6 Prediction
This series had a ton of hype around it and it has not disappointed us so far. Golden Syste came into this series seen as the favorite, but Los Angeles has reminded the league that they have two superstars of their own, and when right, they are one of the best teams in basketball.
Golden State is 0-2 this series on the road after having an abysmal regular season on the road representing a record of just 11-30. Despite the poor road record in the regular season Golden State did go into Sacramento and take two road games to advance in their last series. They will look to extend their NBA record for most playoff series with a road win as well if they pull this off.
The big headline of this game is the status of Anthony Davis, who suffered a head injury late in game five. He left the game in a wheelchair, but Davis is expected to give it a go tonight. Los Angeles comes into this game as a two-and-a-half-point favorite.
I am going to do something that I am sure not a lot of people want to do and back the Warriors on the spread tonight. Yes, I understand that they were brutal on the road this season, but it is important to understand that historically this has been the best road team ever in the playoffs.
The moment will not be too big for this experienced bunch who has played in much more difficult environments over the years. Another thing to keep an eye on is game six, Klay. Thomspon has been known for breakout games in game sixes, and after struggling back-to-back games, I believe that he will give the Warriors a big boost offensively tonight.
