The NBA Playoffs haven't disappointed.
Last night, the Denver Nuggets escaped the Los Angeles Lakers comeback in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. The Nuggets looked to have that game locked up, but the Lakers clawed back and made it a game.
I feel this Celtics-Heat series will be just as back and forth. The Boston Celtics needed seven games against the Philadelphia 76ers and could struggle to put away a pesky Miami Heat team in the Eastern Conference Finals.
But we'll take it one game at a time.
Here are some same-game parlays to keep you sweating throughout Game 1.

Gabe Vincent started the playoffs extremely hot. But he's cooled off since. Against the Knicks, he shot 31.8% from the field and hit just 26.8% from downtown. Shooting against the Boston Celtics won't be any easier, especially on the road. Meanwhile, I'm going to side with Jayson Tatum tonight. Tatum just scored 51 points on his home floor two days ago. He didn't have to travel and got a couple of days of rest without getting really rusty. There's a good chance he takes 20 or more shots tonight, and I think he'll be on his game. But if Tatum continues to take a lot of shots, Jaylen Brown's volume will take a hit. Brown only took 15.6 shots per game for the Celtics in their last series against the 76ers. He also shot 54.1% from the field in those games. It's hard to imagine Brown replicating that percentage against the Miami Heat, although he's sustained that average through the playoffs. I'm taking his Under.

- Jaylen Brown Over 5.5 Rebounds (-125)
- Jimmy Butler Over 6.5 Rebounds (-130)
It looks like we're doing a star-player rebounds parlay. But I already like the Under in this game, so I expect many rebounding opportunities for both sides. Tatum has hit at least ten rebounds in four of his last five and six of his last ten. He earned 11.1 rebounds per game against the 76ers in the playoffs and added at least nine rebounds in every game where he wasn't in major foul trouble. Meanwhile, Brown averaged 6.9 rebounds per game this season. He's also hit six or more rebounds in four of his last five and six of his last ten. He's got a streak of three straight games with six or more, and I don't think that ends tonight. Finally, Butler earned 7.2 rebounds per game against the Knicks in his five games in that previous series. He only got fewer than six rebounds when he sat for more minutes due to a blowout win. He'll be in the range of seven rebounds and has hit this number in two straight games.
