Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets Game 4 Prediction
The Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers will meet up from LA for a much anticipated fourth game of this series. The mindset is pretty simple for the Lakers. Lose, and you go home, win, and you get a chance to go back to Denver and extend this series.
Despite being down 3-0, it is not like the Lakers have played all that poorly. These have been closely contested games, but late in the games, the Nuggets have been the more clutch team, and that is the reason we sit here, and the series is 3-0. One of those guys that have stepped up and have been clutch is Canadian-born superstar Jamal Murray.
Murray dealt with a bad injury a season ago and missed the playoffs. The media and fans poorly perceived the injury, and many questioned his commitment to being on the floor. Murday has silenced all critics with some legacy performances here in the postseason, including an outstanding game on Saturday night to lead the Nuggets to a Game 3 win.
Tonight, however, we will be fading Jamal Murray and taking his under-on points, which is currently sitting at 26.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. This is not a play that a lot of people will love, but Murray is due for some shooting regression and volume regression.
The 26-year-old has soared over this number in every game this series, but I expect the game plan to be better on him tonight and for him to come back to earth from a shooting perspective. Murray is a guy that averaged 20.0 points during the season, and those numbers are more true to who he is than the playoffs have indicated. I love this play tonight. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
