Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Prediction: Can Derrick White Continue to Produce in ECF Game 6?
The Boston Celtics refuse to lie down and wave the white flag, and now we are at Game 6 in Miami, Flordia, where if the Celtics win, they take it back home for Game 7. One of the reasons for the Celtic's last two wins has been excellent three-point shooting, which brings me to my favorite bet in this game, which is Derrick White to make over 2.5 threes.

Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics Game 6 Prediction
Are you experiencing deja vu? Yes, this is the same exact bet from Game 5 that we maxed on Thursday night. I have bet on Derrick White's three-point prop in three of the five games now, and he has cashed in every time. The books have been crazy enough to give us plus money on his threes, and we got +125 in Game 5. Finally, the juice set in, and he is -108 to go over 2.5 in game six, but I still love it for all the same reasons as I did in game five.
White has been a consistent performer for the Boston Celtics throughout the postseason. While he wasn't a big factor in the series against the Philadelphia 76ers, he has been doing very well against the Miami Heat, specifically from the three-point line. Derrick White came off the bench to start the series against the Heat, but Joe Mazzulla quickly gave White a starting spot after realizing he is a good weapon in this matchup against Miami. As a result, White has had increased playing time in every game this series and played 37 minutes in Game 5, which was his highest minutes logged in 16 games.
With White getting more minutes in the series, he has been extremely consistent against the Heat from three. After hitting 3+ threes in five of his first 13 postseason games this season, White has hit over 2.5 threes in every game of the series so far. In two of them, he did it with only five attempts. His three attempts have also increased in every game with his increased playing time. He attempted eight threes in Game 5, which was his most attempts from behind the arc since Game four of the Atlanta Hawks series.
White has been a very consistent shooter in this series. He is shooting 58% from three in this series, which is the highest on the team. He also has the highest three-point percentage of any Celtics player in the postseason from players attempting over 2.5 per game.
The Celtics have made their game plan clear: shoot more threes. They attempted the second most threes per game in the league during the regular season and were second in the NBA for a reason, and they shoot it well from deep. They failed to shoot well from three in the first three games of the series but have since picked it up in the last two games, shooting 41% from three in Game 5 and 40% from three in Game 4.
With the Celtics relying on the three, Derrick White will continue to have an impact on the team. I have not lost on his threes prop yet in this series, so I'm going right back to the well in Game 6. This is a good matchup for him, and he continues to bury them. He has also become very confident shooting it in this series, going a playoff-best 6-8 from three in Game 5. If the Celtics are going to win Game 6, it will take another game of shooting 40% from deep, and White will be a key factor in that area. Look for him to play 37+ minutes again and hit at least three threes.
