Nuggets vs. Heat Game 1 Prediction
The Denver Nuggets will host the Miami Heat tonight for Game 1 of the NBA Finals. This is not the matchup we expected coming into the playoffs, but that’s the beauty of sports, as we know to expect the unexpected. Denver has rolled so far in the playoffs, while Miami has had to work harder, but they are here and four wins away from being champions.
Jimmy Butler was the star in rounds one and two, but the role players really stepped up in round three when the Heat took down the Celtics in seven. One of those role players was Caleb Martin, who led the Heat in scoring in the Eastern Conference Finals. He also stole a lot of our money, so I will tell everyone tonight's play is not Caleb Martins' under. The player that we will be targeting tonight is Bruce Brown.
I will be taking Brown to go under 11.5 points tonight. Brown averaged under this number during the regular season but did go on a run where he crushed this number vs. the Suns and Lakers. Brown will typically be the fourth or fifth scoring option when he is on the court. I also expect to see more of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in this series than Brown, as KCP is the better defender. I love this under tonight. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
