This isn't a must-win game for the Heat. But in retrospect, it is.
The Miami Heat are down 2-1 in the NBA Finals. They'll play one more game at home tonight before returning to Denver for Game 5.
The Heat would rather not have to go to Denver down 3-1 in the series. They'd have to win three straight games, with two of them in Denver, to win the NBA Finals.
Although the Heat have played well on the road, that's not somewhere they want to be.
Here are some same-game parlays to consider for tonight's Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets.

- Michael Porter Jr. Over 10.5 Points (-111)
- Jimmy Butler Under 26.5 Points (-104)
- Aaron Gordon Under 12.5 Points (-125)
Michael Porter Jr. went from 43 minutes in Game 1 to 21 minutes in Game 3.
He's shooting 15.8% from downtown and 25.8% from the field. But overall, the volume is still there. He's taken nearly 11 shots per game and should eventually start to see his shots fall. He's hit at least 11 points in 81% of games this year and in 75% of his last 20 games. This line is getting too low now.
Meanwhile, Aaron Gordon has hit 13 or more points in two of his last ten games. He's been efficient but just isn't getting a high amount of attempts. His defense has done the talking in this series. He can do a little bit of everything, but scoring isn't his priority.
Finally, I'll back Jimmy Butler to go under on his points prop. Butler scored 28 points on 11-for-24 from the field. To just get over 27 points, he needed 24 shots and multiple trips to the foul line. He's also shooting just 42.1% from the field in the NBA Finals.

3-Leg Same-Game Parlay Odds (+344) (Bet $100 to collect $444) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
- Max Strus Over 2.5 Rebounds (-140)
- Michael Porter Jr. Over 1.5 Threes (-172)
- Bruce Brown Over .5 Threes (-170)
Max Strus has struggled with his shot. But he's doing other things to stay out on the floor. Strus added five assists and four rebounds in Game 3 against the Nuggets. Despite only scoring three points, he was active everywhere else. He's averaging 3.7 rebounds per game in the NBA Finals and has hit three rebounds in seven of his last ten games.
On the other hand, I'm ready to back Michael Porter Jr. tonight. His lines are getting absurdly low after a weak start to the NBA Finals. Porter Jr. has nailed at least two threes in 78% of games this season. He's also hit this line in seven of his last ten games. I'll take my chances.
Lastly, Bruce Brown continues to be effective for the Nuggets. He's earned at least one three in 63% of games this year. But more importantly, he's hit this in three straight to begin the NBA Finals. Brown has also hit this line in eight of his last ten games.
