The Brooklyn Nets travel to Oklahoma City tonight to take on the Thunder. The Thunder have been on a roll lately and I could see this game ending in a blowout and the starters being pulled early. The Nets have also had weird rotations lately so there is no telling if the starters will even play their full minutes. I believe I found a solid line that I will be running with tonight.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction
Nic Claxton has gone under this line in six straight games, and in ten out of 13 games in December, only averaging 10.3 points per game. He just played three straight games against bottom five paint defenses, and he went under in all three. He is probable tonight with an illness, so that could definitely hinder his play. His backup, Day'Ron Sharpe, has actually outscored him over their past 5 games as well.
Claxton obviously does all his work in the paint, where the Thunder have allowed the least amount of points in the month of December. Oklahoma City opponents are shooting 59.4% in the restricted area, which is also the lowest in the NBA currently. That is mainly all thanks to the great new rookie shot blocker Chet Holmgren. I think Chet will cause major problems for Claxton tonight, as he is legitimately only a paint scorer, and especially since they are not too far off weight wise as well, which is really Chet's only downside.
Claxton has the 12 most pick and roll man possessions in the NBA, which is another strength in Oklahoma City's defense. They allow the fourth least points per possession, and the third lowest EFG% to the pick and roll man. I believe this is a great spot for us tonight and will be putting one unit on this play.
