Let's start 2024 off with some profit.
With eight games on the NBA slate, I've added some of my favorite NBA prop bets for tonight's matchups.
January 1 Best NBA Player Props
Brandon Miller Over 15.5 Points (-106) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Brandon Miller has started to show why he was a top pick in this year's NBA Draft. He's scored at least 16 points in seven of his last ten games and has nailed this line in three of his previous five.
Miller has added at least 16 shot attempts in six of his last eight games and just scored 20 points in a loss to the Suns, where he shot 6-for-10 from downtown.
He saw 32 minutes a game in December. If he continues to get those minutes and keeps up with the shot volume, I like him to continue to score at a high rate for Charlotte.

The Raptors made some adjustments to their lineup. Therefore, Scottie Barnes will be the go-to man with Pascal Siakam for the next couple of games.
Barnes has scored at least 22 points in seven of his last ten games and in three of his previous five. He's attempted 44 shots in the last two games and hasn't been super efficient. But ultimately, if he's going to take 22 shots in a game, there's a good chance he ends up with 22 or more points.
Barnes still shot over 40% from three in December, and he's getting to the line a couple of times per game.

Tyler Herro has hauled in at least five rebounds in 71% of games this season. While he's facing a Clippers team that typically limits shooting guards off the glass, Herro has hit this line in five straight games and has had prior success against the Clippers in previous games dating back to last year on the glass.
Herro averaged 6.2 rebounds per game in December. With 35 minutes a night since his return, I don't think he'll struggle to stay active on the glass and earn five rebounds.

Sexton is now the third-leading scorer on the Jazz. That's helped him earn more minutes and get a starting job.
With that, Sexton has also added at least three rebounds in 64% of games this season. He's also hit this line in 70% of his last 20 games.
Beyond that, Sexton is facing a Dallas defense that is 24th in rebounds allowed to point guards. Sexton is playing about 30 minutes a night. He'll need one rebound every ten minutes he's on the floor.
That's very doable.
