January 8 Best NBA Player Props

DeMar DeRozan Over 20.5 Points (-111) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

DeMar DeRozan currently leads the Bulls in scoring with 22.2 points per game. If he adds 22 points tonight, that would be good enough.

DeRozan has scored at least 21 points in 60% of games this year. He's also hit this line in seven of his last ten matchups.

The Chicago Bulls are facing a Hornets defense that ranks 23rd against points scored from small forwards. Look for DeRozan's volume to improve after just ten shots in his last game.

Still, DeRozan always finds a way to get to the foul line. You can add about six points to his total per game with free throws. That will help. Grab his Over.

Terry Rozier Over 6.5 Assists (-154) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

We'll stay in the same game. Terry Rozier has added seven assists in six of his last seven matchups. He's averaging about 36 minutes a game and hasn't shot the ball exceptionally well this season.

But with LaMelo Ball out, the ball is on Rozier's hands a lot more lately.

The Bulls rank 27th in the NBA in assists to point guards. Therefore, Rozier should have much opportunity to rack up assists against Chicago. We've got to rely on his teammates to score, which is never easy with Charlotte. But the opportunity will be there.

Grab the Over.

Jalen Green Over 4.5 Rebounds (-102) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

Jalen Green has earned at least five rebounds in six of his last ten games and four of his previous five.

He's facing a Miami defense that only ranks 23rd against shooting guards regarding rebounds. Therefore, Green should stay consistent on the boards despite missing out on five rebounds in his last game against Milwaukee.

Green has seen a slight uptick in minutes, which is never bad. Ultimately, if he plays 30 minutes, he'll need a rebound every six minutes on the floor. That's very doable for someone like Green.

Fred VanVleet Over 2.5 Threes (-170) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

We're heavy on the Rockets tonight!

Fred VanVleet has nailed at least three three-pointers in 64% of games this season. He's also hit this line in four of his last five games.

VanVleet isn't the most efficient scorer or shooter. But he takes plenty of volume. Against the Bucks, VanVleet went 3-for-10 from downtown. He shot 30% but still managed to earn at least three three-pointers.

Even in December, VanVleet attempted more than seven threes per game. The volume figures to continue against a Miami defense that is below average defensively against point guards shooting the three-ball.
