Kyrie Irving is probable to make his return to action tonight. We are gambling a little here on expecting a full workload but injury was a thumb injury so I’m expecting him to play his typical 33+ minutes. This game projects to be close so hopefully no blowout if we still need assists late in the game.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Philadelphia 76ers Prediction
Kyrie has hit this in seven of his last nine games and Philadelphia allows the second most assists to shooting guards. If Luka Doncic suits up then Kyrie will be in that role but if Luka doesn’t, we could see a usage bump and see Kyrie's potential assists skyrocket. As a Maverick, Kyrie has 5+ assists in eight out of nine games without Luka.
This number just feels too low for Kyrie. I like this whether Luka plays or not but if Luka doesn’t play I can see us getting a steal of a line here and the line moving up significantly. Kyrie had five assists against Philly last year, time to do it again. Let's roll!
