New Orleans Pelicans vs. Los Angeles Clippers Prediction
Zion Williams has respected our cash this year and we are asking him to come through for us yet again. Zion has deceptive stats against the Clippers this year. He faced them twice and had 32 in the matchup (albeit without CJ McCollum) and the second time he only scored 12. Digging deeper you will find out that Zion left the second matchup early in the third quarter with a leg injury.
Zion is a special talent and if he goes tonight I think should look to be aggressive. I think the Clippers will prioritize limiting Brandon Ingram more than Zion and he should be the main aggressor if he is locker in to his game completely. Zion has hit this in four of his last five against the Clippers with the only miss being the game left due to injury.
Zion on the season has hit this in six of his last nine games with all three misses coming due to blowout and playing 27 minutes or less. Let's hope New Orleans can keep this close to where Zion can see his typical big minutes. He is currently a game time decision, if he doesn’t play then no harm no foul the bets get voided, but I hope he plays because I like this one. Let's roll!
