Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Clippers Prediction
Paul George has dealt with his minutes being down lately and his efficiency going down the drain. With that being said, I think his most recent game against Detroit showed that his minutes are back up and he found his groove again.
PG played 36 minutes and took 24 shots. If he sees that type of volume again then he should be a lock for 20 points. Last game against Minnesota he did struggle shooting just 5-19 but it was a good sign that he saw that type of volume. I expect tonights game to be close and for him to play 35+ minutes.
Prior to the last game, George had a stretch of eight games with 33 minutes or less, I really think this number is based off of the assumption he’s still on a minutes limit when he isn’t anymore. The matchup isn’t elite or anything but Paul George averages 22 a night and Minnesota just allowed small forwards Jae Crowder and DeMar DeRozan to torch them in their last two games, George can easily do the same.
