I'm looking at the DraftKings odds bringing this down by one rebound. On FanDuel, you can get o11.5 for +100 and it’s arguable that’s a smarter bet, but something in my gut tells me this is smarter. If Anthony Davis finishes with ten or below it would only be due to massive blowout or injury.
Detroit Pistons vs. Los Angeles Lakers Prediction
Davis has 11+ rebounds in 10 of his last 13 games. Detroit has allowed guys like Domantas Sabonis, Daniel Gafford, and Chet Holmgren clear this line with ease recently. Jalen Duren is a great rebounding big man, but he doesn’t have an outside game which leaves opposing centers near the basket. AD had 16 rebounds in just 29 minutes in their first matchup this year.
Detroit will be playing many players for their first or second game on the team, I expect some misses as players are learning their new teams offenses. Davis can clear this line by the third quarter and even hit despite a potential blowout. Rebound props are far from my favorite but I feel really good about this one, even with the -150 odds.
