The Golden State Warriors have climbed their way back to .500 and are now 26–26 on the season, sitting in 10th place in the Western Conference. The Utah Jazz are right behind them in 11th place with a 26–29 record. Both teams are coming off back-to-backs, as the Warriors played against the LA Clippers last night in a close, 130–125 loss. The Jazz also lost last night to a California team, dropping their game against the Los Angeles Lakers 138–122. What should we expect in tonight‘s game?

To no one's surprise, Stephen Curry has been liking it up from range in February. Curry may very well go down as one of the greatest shooters of all time, and he leads the NBA in total three-pointers made by a very large margin. He is first place all-time with his career still going with 3,640 three-point shots made, while second place is Ray Allen with 2,973.
Curry is adding to that total every day, and he is making the margin even wider at a quicker rate in February. He is coming off a nine three-pointer game against the Clippers, which marked him as the first player in NBA history to have 7+ threes in four straight games. Tonight, he can make it five. Curry is shooting 48.2% from three in February. He’s also averaging his most attempts of the season, as he is attempting 14.3 threes per game to start February. He has made 7+ threes in five of his eight games in February and he has made 6+ threes in eight of his last eleven games overall. Tonight, his line is 5.5 threes with slight plus money on the over. It’s hard to fade one of the greatest shooters of all time, which is exactly why I am backing him to go over his line tonight. The Jazz have been playing at an insane pace, and their defense has fallen off a cliff. Over the last 15 days, the Jazz rank sixth in the NBA in pace of play, while the Warriors rank seventh. Additionally, the Jazz have rated dead last at 30th place in the NBA in defensive rating over the last 15 days. The Jazz also give up a lot of threes. The Jazz defense ranks 28th in three-point percentage allowed, 30th in three-pointers allowed overall, and 24th in opponent three-pointers attempted per game.
This is a good defensive matchup for Steph to make even more threes, as he went 7–16 from three against the Jazz just back on Monday. Curry is feeling it right now, and he can extend his historic streak to five games tonight if he can hit 7+threes again, but we just need six in this spot tonight.
