The plays that everyone will be on for this game will be Jaden Ivey and Bennedict Mathurin props. In the rising stars game, they had another beef and they always seem to play hard against one another. With that being said, there’s reasons I’m laying off both and prefer Simone Fontecchio here.

Detroit Pistons vs. Indiana Pacers Prediction

Monty Williams isn’t afraid to bench Ivey for the smallest reasons and now having Fournier in the mix and the possibility of Quentin Grimes making his Pistons' debut, Ivey has to really be on his game to see big minutes. As for Mathurin, he just saw low minutes last game as well and is no guarantee to see the court for long.

Finally, onto our actual bet. Fontecchio has played three games for the Pistons, in those three games he is averaging 15.3 points per game and is attempting 13.3 field goals per game. He is much more trigger happy on this team and this feels like such a soft number against a fast paced Indiana team. The Pacers allow the most points to power forwards in the NBA and Fontecchio could hit this even with a potential blowout. Let's roll!
