I can’t believe how much I like this bet. Taking a Jerami Grant assist line out loud sounds like an insane thing to do, but there are real reasons to like this one.
Charlotte Hornets vs. Portland Trail Blazers Prediction
First off, Jerami Grant has actually hit this prop in five of his last six games. He isn’t soaring over but ending with exactly four or going for a billion payout the exact same here. In Grant's last game without both Scoot Henderson and Malcolm Brogdon, he saw 14 potential assists but he only was fortunate enough to get four which still would have cashed us.
If he sees 14 potential assists again, I expect him to convert more than 28% of those assuming his teammates can shoot just league average. This game against Charlotte doesn’t project to be high scoring, but it should be close and Grant should see 33+ minutes.
We need an assist every eight minutes or so on the court, not asking for him to perform rocket science here. Grant has occasionally been the one primary ball handler with the injuries and should be looking to dish on occasion, let's roll!
