The player I am targeting in this game tonight is Draymond Green. Draymond has battled a lot this season, including injuries, and even a suspension for some dirty play, but he is a pivotal piece of this Warriors team that usually doesn’t show up on the stat sheet. While Draymond is not known as a volume scorer, he is a facilitator on offense and defense, and he makes all the physical plays that go unnoticed on the box score for the Warriors.
Since returning from injury, he has been playing more after a slow start to the season, and his rebounds and assists are up. In February, he averaged 8.4 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. That is an average of 14.2 rebounds plus assists per game, and his line is 13.5 with no juice on the over.
I love Draymond Green to pass his rebounds plus assists prop tonight. While he had a very slow February scoring Wise, he had his best month of the season rebounding-wise. He has hit double-digit rebounds in four of his last eight games and he is usually good for at least around five to six assists per game as well. He has hit 16 rebounds plus assists in three of the last four games as well. He matches up against a Raptors team that has played at a very fast pace lately.
The Raptors have also been 23rd in defensive rating over the last 15 days, so the shots should be flying and there should be plenty of rebound opportunities in this game tonight. The Raptors give up the 21st most defensive rebounds and the 26th most assists to opponents in the NBA, so the opportunity should be there for Draymond. I think hitting 14 rebounds plus assists is very doable for him in this matchup tonight.
