Milwaukee Bucks vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction
While I am also playing the Warriors to win and cover in this game tonight, this article will be focused on my favorite player prop in this game, which is on the Warriors center Draymond Green. Draymond has been having an up-and-down season, missing time with both an injury and a suspension, but he has been playing well as of late even playing fewer minutes. While Green has never been a player that lights up the scoreboard, he’s a pivotal piece to this Warriors team that can battle opponents physically and even mentally, which will not show up in the box score. The prop I like on him tonight is targeting his rebounds and assists combo prop.
The line for Draymond is 12.5 rebounds+assists with -120 juice on the over. I love this prop for Draymond Green in this matchup tonight. The Warriors are coming off an absolute embarrassing loss against the Celtics, losing by 52 points, and in that game, Draymond Green only played 14 minutes. However, he is usually playing around 28 minutes, and he is averaging 12.8 rebounds+assists on the season. More recently, however, he has averaged 14.2 rebounds plus assists in February. He also had 14.2 on average in January.
The Bucks are an excellent matchup here for Draymond because the Warriors will need his size down low against Brook Lopez, Bobby Portis, and potentially Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is questionable for tonight. Because of this, Draymond should play a decent share of minutes tonight and even reach into the low 30s, and if he does, this is a line he should easily pass.
Green is 8-1 to the over on this prop in nine games played this season with 30+ minutes. Green had 10+ rebounds in six of 14 games in February, and he had 13 in the first game in March before the Celtics game. When he is on the floor for 30+ minutes, getting ten rebounds is not usually a problem for Draymond. Add in the fact that the Bucks also give up the fourth-most assists to centers, and this should be an easy combo prop for Draymond Green to hit in tonight‘s matchup.
Draymond has not played the Bucks this season, but he went 2-0 on this line last season in their two games against the Bucks. Draymond has hit this line in ten of his last 15 games, good for a 67% hit rate going back 15 games. I expect him to hit this line again pretty easily tonight in a game where he will be much needed for his defense in the paint.
