This is my favorite bet of the day. Wendell Carter Jr. doesn’t score a bunch of points usually, but he typically opens games nicely and then slows down throughout the game when Paolo and Franz start to get going. This is a premier matchup tonight, and we are getting great odds.
Wendell Carter has 4+ 1Q points in 10 of his last 11 games, a 91% recent hit rate. Additionally, Washington allows the most points to Centers in the NBA. Carter had exactly four points in the only meeting between these two teams this year.
Six of the last seven starting centers have hit this prop against Washington. The lone exception was Draymond Green running the 5 for Golden State, and he is far from a scorer. I love the odds we’re getting here, love the hit rate, love the matchup, and love that it only requires two buckets.
