The Golden State Warriors are on the road to take on the Spurs and rematch after their loss on Saturday when they lost by 13 points without Steph Curry. There are a few spots I love in this game on some player props, including my other article tonight, which has a bet on Klay Thompson, which you can check out by clicking on my name and checking out the handicapper page. The player I am targeting in this article is point guard Chris Paul.

Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs Prediction
Chris Paul joined the Warriors this season after a three-year stint in Phoenix. While he may be 38 years old, he is still a veteran presence on the team and can still dish it out. He is averaging 7.1 assists on the team, despite playing just 26 minutes per game on average. That is the highest average for a bench player in the NBA this season, although Chris Paul will be starting this game in place of the injured Stephen Curry. With Paul starting the last game for the injured Steph, he finished with nine assists and 10 points, just one off a double-double. His line for a double-double tonight is +290 on FanDuel Sportsbook. I think this has immense value given the situation. Chris Paul has started 12 games and has come in off the bench for 27. He is averaging 7.6 assists when he starts and 6.9 assists off the bench. Chris Paul has played three games without Curry this season and finished with nine, eight, and four assists. The four assists game was against Minnesota, the best defense in the NBA. With Paul playing just about 30 minutes last game without Curry, he was just one assist shy from hitting the double-double. Given that he is playing the same team and should probably play 30+ minutes in this game, getting three-to-one odds on a double-double tonight feels very doable. We’ve seen Paul hit 10+ assists in many games this season, as he did so in five of seven games during a stretch back in December. We just need him to get one more assist than he did on Saturday against the same team and hit 10 points again to cash this puppy at three-to-one odds. This is +240 on DraftKings and +210 on Pointsbet, so the value is there solely on FanDuel. I'd play it down to +260.
