This is admittedly one of the weirder bets we’ve ever placed. With that being said, I see value here. Jonathan Kuminga just played this same Warriors team last game and had three rebounds all game. In the other matchup against San Antonio this year he ended with just one rebound.
Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs Prediction
Kuminga has played 51 minutes against San Antonio this season and has a total of just four rebounds, a rebound every 12 minutes and 45 seconds. So why do I see more value in the first quarter line? Allow me to explain.
With Steph Curry out, head coach Steve Kerr changed his rotations a bit. Just two days ago, we saw Kuminga exit out at the 7:10 mark and he didn’t re-enter the game until the beginning of the second quarter. He only had one foul so I don’t believe it was foul related.
Now there is a chance he could see more extended first quarter run with Victor Wembanyama playing in this one but I still think there’s a better chance of him getting zero rebounds or one rebound compared to 2+. It’s a weird play but I trust it, let's roll!
