The Jazz have lost five of their last six games and now sit at 12th place in the Western Conference with a record of 28–36. The threes props have been kind to us lately, including cashing in on both Klay Thompson and Brandon Miller last night. I have another threes prop tonight, and will go to the Celtics game to target point guard Derrick White.
Derrick White attempts the second-most threes on the Celtics with 6.4 attempts per game. He has the second-highest three-point percentage on the team, shooting 39.5% from deep this season. He is averaging 2.5 threes per game, which is directly what his line is placed at tonight. However, there is value in this matchup against the Jazz, especially considering that Jaylen Brown will not play in tonight’s game with a sacroiliac strain. Jaylen Brown has missed just five games this season, and in those five games, Derrick White has averaged four threes a game.
Derrick White has hit 3+ threes in four of the five games that Jaylen Brown has missed this season. He is averaging 8.23 point attempts when Brown is not in the game, which is nearly 2 above his season average.
