There are huge things at stake here today, the Lakers need to win to secure the 8th seed and the Pelicans need the win to avoid the play-in. This will be an intense one, and with these types of games, I'm always eyeing the proven and experienced players to get it done, which is why I believe LeBron will have to be at his top level to beat this tough Pelicans team, and I think his points + assists is the way to go.
LeBron is also eight assists away from reaching 11,000 assists, absolutely incredible. You may question why I am going with PA if his assists line looks good, and this is because his assist number are a bit lower on the road vs. at home, and with the magnitude of this game, I think we'll see a mixed bag with points and assists. But, he'll be the main scorer too in my opinion.
LeBron has hit this line in all three games games versus the Pelicans, and is averaging 38.3 PA versus them. In his last 10 games, he has hit this line in six of them as well. LeBron is averaging 13.1 potential assists per game and had 14 assists in his most recent game against the Pelicans along with 19 potential assists.
