ANALYSIS

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics Prop Pick: Will Payton Pritchard Shine in Game 1 Against Cavaliers?

This is not a good spot for Cleveland in Game 1. They are coming off an emotional Game 7 win vs. Orlando at home, and now travel to Boston on one day of rest to take on the Celtics who are well rested with five days. Let's target Payton Pritchard to perform well in this home spot.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics Prediction

Boston is an 11.5-point home favorite, and even that feels maybe a little generous. I expect them to win this one handedly, and think this is a potential blowout spot which is great news for this prop.

Pritchard has seen 18+ minutes in every playoff game so far, but saw just 27 minutes in a blowout win in the one playoff game since Porzingis’ injury. He should be locked into 20+ minutes in this game. When he sees 20+ minutes, he has cleared his PRA line in 86% of games this season (96% at home).

He has also cleared this number in 86% of home wins with 17+ minutes this season, as well as in 76% of home wins by 10+ points (no minutes limit). If there is a blowout, we can expect Pritchard to see a potential increase in minutes but even if not, he has a good chance of clearing this line.
