This is a bet I really like. In this series any blowouts wouldn’t shock me so I much prefer the first quarter market here. Donovan Mitchell is the top scorer on this Cavs team and he will have a hungry home crowd behind him trying to give Cleveland some energy.
Boston Celtics vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction
Mitchell has 11+ opening quarter points against Boston in four of five games this year if you include the regular season. Playoffs are a different breed but he’s two for three in this series. Against Orlando he was five for seven on hitting prop so he’s seven for ten on the playoffs this year. He is likely to play all 12 minutes barring foul trouble.
Mitchell has taken 8+ FGA in the opening quarter in four of his last five games, if he sees that type of volume again he can easily hit this prop without even being all that efficient. I don’t imagine him being passive in what feels like a must win game. All eyes on Spida tonight and I’m hoping for a hot start. Let's roll!
