This is a play I knew I wanted to target as soon as Game 2 was over. I simply have too much faith in Denver and Games 3 and 4 didn’t shock me as they soared back in the series. I just don’t see Denver losing a third straight home game this series. That Denver crowd will be rocking for the defending champs.
The best juice reducer I can think of is Nikola Jokic to score 20. The lone game he didn’t in this series was a different matchup with Rudy Gobert out. Weirdly enough, with Gobert in it means Denver leans more on him as a scorer. Game 5 with the series tied is incredibly important to win and I would expect the MVP to bring elite hoops once again.
Minnesota is an incredible up and coming team but I think as the lights continue to get brighter the playoff experience of this Nuggets team will show. The player prop lines have gotten as sharp as we’ve seen them with the books having endless data throughout the last four games so taking an alt points line and a juiced moneyline feels like the right direction here. Let's roll!
