Jayson Tatum Celtics hands on knees

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics Best Bet: Will Jayson Tatum Continue to Struggle in Game 5?

The Boston Celtics will look to close out the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night at the TD Garden. Will Jayson Tatum continue to struggle from behind the arc and see limited minutes in a blowout? Ben Rajavuori is targeting him with his best bet in Cavs vs. Celtics Game 5.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics Best Bet: Will Jayson Tatum Continue to Struggle in Game 5?

The Cleveland Cavaliers travel back to Boston for Game 5 of the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs tonight. The Cavaliers were able to get one game in the series, but now find themselves down 3-1 and are facing elimination tonight in the TD Garden. The Celtics are rolling right now after dropping Game 2, and are huge 15.5-point favorites to close out the series tonight. What should we expect in this game?

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics Prediction

In Game 4 on Monday, we had an article in which we played Jason Tatum to go under 2.5 three-point field goals. Tatum went 2-for-8 from three in that game, cashing our under. He is set at 2.5 once again, and I will be taking it under again without hesitation. Jayson Tatum has been set at 2.5 threes in every game of the playoffs so far, going under in all nine postseason games. He has yet to hit three three's in a game during the playoffs, and just had some really poor shooting from beyond the arc. He is now 4-for-16 from three over the last two games, and has been shooting 23% from three in this series, averaging 1.5 three-pointers per game. In the Miami Heat series, he shot 29% from three and averaged 1.83 threes per game. The three-point shot is just not Tatum‘s game right now, although he is still doing just fine without it. He has scored 33 points in back-to-back games, and has been getting to the free throw line a lot on some aggressive cutting. The three-point shot is just not there for him right now and doesn’t need to be, because the Celtics are rolling and have so many other good three-point shooters.

There is also massive potential for a blowout with a spread of 15.5, which would cut into Tatum's minutes. In a game that’s expected to be a blowout, look for Tatum to keep his three-point attempts low and go under 2.5 threes for the 10th time in a row. This play is 100% in the postseason so far and I love it again tonight. They are also giving us even money again, which feels too good to pass up.
