Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Dallas Mavericks Prop Pick: Will Anthony Edwards Find Success in Game 2?
The Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks square off from game two of the Western Conference finals tonight at the Target Center in Minneapolis. The Mavericks were able to take game one behind very strong performances from Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving. Anthony Edwards and Karl Anthony Towns had relatively quiet games and the Timberwolves eventually blew a second-half lead to go down in this series 0-1. What should we expect in tonight‘s game?

DALLAS MAVERICKS VS. MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES GAME 2 PREDICTION
The two leading scorers during the postseason for the Timberwolves were held in check in game one by the Mavericks defense. Anthony Edwards finished with 19 points and Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 16 points. They combined for 12–36 from the field and both had negative plus minuses. In Game 2, I expect both to have bounce-back games, specifically Anthony Edwards. However, I think he will score more points, and I like him to go under on his rebounds and assists. Anthony Edwards had a postseason-high of 19 rebounds and assists in game one. Because of that, his rebound and assists line shot up from 11.5 to 12.5 in game two. Edwards' rebounds and assists prop had been sitting in the 9.5–10.5 range for much of the postseason, so seeing a line as high as 12.5 is somewhat shocking. Edwards did have a postseason high of 19 rebounds and assists in game one, but the underlying metrics point to him having less in Game 2. He led the Timberwolves with eight assists in Game 1, while Mike Conley only had three assists. I expect Mike Conley to be the assist leader once again in game two and run the offense more with Edwards focused on scoring. Anthony Edwards also had a ridiculously high 15 rebound chances in game one, converting that into 11 total rebounds. That is way above the norm for him and I expect that to drop and game two as well. With Anthony Edwards struggling in the scoring department in game one, I expect him to be much more aggressive in game two and look to shoot when he has the ball instead of passing for assists. His rebounds will naturally drop as he is not usually an elite rebounder as a guard. Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns should bounce back in the rebounding department and Edwards will stay under his line of 12.5 rebounds and assists in game two.
