The Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks meet for Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals from the Target Center in Minneapolis. The Mavericks have looked very good in the series, taking three of the first four games, but Minnesota is fighting back. The Timberwolves need to take this game tonight if they want to extend the series and have a chance at the finals.

DALLAS MAVERICKS VS. MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES GAME 5 Prediction
The superstar of the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards, had a rough start to the series. Edward was 5–16 and 6–17 in Games 1 and 2 of the series, starting cold from the floor. Anthony Edwards and Karl Anthony Towns entered the series as two of the top scorers for the Timberwolves, but they have both struggled to enter the series.
Tonight, I expect Anthony Edwards to be very aggressive. He’s talked about needing to be more aggressive in this series and delivered in Games 3 and 4. However, his rebounds and assists line is very high tonight.
Anthony Edwards is sitting at 14.5 rebounds and assists tonight. This is a very high line for Edwards and one Timber the highest lines for him in the postseason. He has been at 10.5 or 11.5 for much of the postseason up until this point. Edwards has passed this line in three of four games in this series which has ballooned him to this highest line of 14.5 for Game 5.
With such a high line for Edwards, I expect him to go under in Game 5. Edwards averaged ten rebounds and assists during the regular season, and while he had hit this line three out of four games in this series, this line is simply too high for him. Mike Conley should lead the team in assists and KAT and Ridy Gobert will be the majority rebounders. Fade this high line for Edwards is potentially the last game of the season.
