The Celtics are -210 to win the finals, where they opened up at +400 at the start of the season. The Celtics have dominated in the playoffs, but that is not something new for them as they defended their home court at an insane rate with a 37-4 record at The Garden. But tonight, we will not be looking at a spread or a total, we will be diving into a player prop and it is not someone that you would expect.
Tonight we will be taking a look into Payton Pritchard. Pritchard has been a key role player on this absurd Celtics team averaging 7.5 PPG, 2.1 RPG, and 2.3 APG all while averaging just 20.9 MPG in the postseason. Pritchard can get hot as he shoots 45.5% from behind the arc and 48.1% from the field. He has also went into double figures in five of his last nine games this postseason, and I feel that this matchup with the Mavericks is perfect for Payton.
Payton Pritchard will get two or three attempts behind the arc tonight, and I think that he splashes two of those tonight, let alone get to the rim or the charity stripe to add to his point total tonight. Although Pritchard is not a Finals MVP candidate by any means, he is an asset to this Celtics team and I think he contributes a decent amount tonight at The Garden.
