The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Lakers meet on Tuesday Night for a Western Conference affair and I'm looking to cook up a same-game parlay winner at FanDuel.

Before the same game matchup, let's examine this matchup briefly.

Minnesota is coming off its best year in two decades.

The T-Wolves stormed to the Western Conference finals last season, but the Dallas Mavericks ended their season. The Wolves will have a new-looking team on the floor tonight.

In the offseason, the Timberwolves traded Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo for former all-star Karl Anthony Towns. Randle averaged 24.0 points and 9.2 rebounds per game last season. DiVincenzo poured in a career-high 15.5 points per game.

The Lakers reached the playoffs last season but they were bounced in round one.

The biggest question this season for the Lakers is whether this team will stay healthy and compete for an NBA Championship.

Lebron James proved age is just a number last season, leading the team with 25.7 points and 8.3 assists per game. James will play with his son Bronny tonight and make NBA history. The Lakers will need a strong season out of veteran Anthony Davis who averaged 24.7 points per game last season.
