Philly was viewed as a legitimate contender to win the NBA Championship entering the season. After years of playoff disappointment, the Sixers were aggressive in the offseason.
The 76ers inked a contract with superstar Paul George. George has been one of the best scorers in the NBA over the last five seasons.
The veteran struggled in his first game as Sixer, shooting 4-14 with 15 points.
Los Angeles begins the contest with a 3-4 record. Entering the season, there were numerous key questions surrounding this franchise.
The Clippers lost their superstar (Paul George) to free agency, while their other superstar, Kawhi Leonard, began the year out with an injury.
Leonard has yet to play a game this season and there is no clear date on when he will return. The Clippers will need Leonard to be healthy in order to make a postseason push this season.
