Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Player Prop: Can Steph Curry Dominate from Deep in Cleveland?

We have a loaded Friday NBA slate today and I have found a ladder play that I am really liking for it. I am looking to target the Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors matchup and really think we see Steph Curry go off from three tonight. So I will be taking his 3's ladder all the way up to 7+ threes against the Cavs. Let me dive into why I am liking this play.

Warriors vs. Cavaliers Prediction

Steph Curry returned to action last week and in his most recent game, played 34 minutes against Boston. This is a great sign, as it appears his conditioning is where it needs to be. Barring a blowout, I think we see Steph get 30+ minutes tonight. So far this season, Steph has 4+ threes in his last four games. He is only averaging 9.5 3-point attempts over that span which is less than what we're used to seeing, but I believe that to be due to the lesser minutes and blowouts so far. I think the matchup sets up for an increase in volume as well.

The main reason that I am taking this ladder play is due to the matchup. The Cavaliers have been elite defensively, and a large part of that is due Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen being so great at protecting the rim. I think the Warriors will rely on their 3-point shooting, which means they should rely heavily on Steph tonight. The Cavalier have allowed the 5th-most 3's to opposing point guards so far this season. Just over the past few games, we saw Dame Lillard go for five and 10 threes, and Jose Alvarado go for seven threes against the Cavs. Steph is more than capable of putting up similar or even better numbers. Against the Cavs, Steph has 4+ threes in 11 straight matchups, with 6+ in six of the last nine games. Look for Chef Curry to firing away from three tonight, hopefully climbing his ladder all the way to the top!
