Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction: Can Naji Marshall Step Up on Road Against Warriors?
The Dallas Mavericks head to San Francisco to face the Warriors. The main headline: Klay Thompson's return. Everyone will be on his overs tonight, but I see value in another player on the Mavericks. Someone you might not expect.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction
Tonight, I am backing Naji Marshall. If you don't know who that is, it's okay. He's a role player for the Mavericks. This is a very tough matchup for Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. The Warriors are among the league's best defenses at stopping the pick & roll, how Luka and Kyrie score a good amount of their points.
While the Warriors are elite there, they do struggle in one key area: spot-up shooting. Now, that technically is Klay Thompson's expertise, but the Warriors will gameplan for Klay. They can't let their former teammate go off on them. So...that leaves one guy: Naji Marshall. He's going to be the player that the Warriors will leave open. They will help off his assignment on drives, force him to make shots.
Naji shot 38% from three last year. He's filling in for P.J. Washington, who remains doubtful tonight. Plus, he's a good defender. I believe he will get open looks, we just need him to make those.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors Pick
1 Unit Pick: Naji Marshall (DAL) OVER 8.5 Points (-115) Click here for complete Mavericks vs. Warriors Odds
Naji's last three games without P.J. Washington, he has scored: 8, 18 and 11 Points on 7, 12 and 9 FGAs. This will be a great matchup for him. He's also great at driving to the hoop where I feel he can have success. Ultimately, the Warriors are going to live with a Naji Marshall legacy game beating them. Just need him to make a couple shots is all!
