We have a nice sized Wednesday NBA slate today and I have a player prop ladder that I am really liking for it. I am going to be taking a look at one of the uglier looking games on the slate in the Houston Rockets vs Los Angeles Clippers matchup. I am going to be targeting Clippers' center, Ivica Zubac, and I like him to go over his points line set at 14.5, and to also climb the ladder a little bit up to 20+ or 21+ points.

Clippers vs. Rockets Prediction
The main reason I am really liking this play is that the Rockets' defense is very elite, especially to pick and roll ball handlers. They also have been extremely good at limiting catch and shoot jumpers. This should make for a tougher matchup for James Harden and for Norman Powell. I am expecting the Clippers to attack the Rockets defense by feeding big Zubac down low. He leads the league in paint touches so far this season, and centers are the one position the Rockets have allowed an above average points per game to.
So far this season, the Rockets have allowed the 8th-most points per game to opposing centers. In games that Zubac has faced off against teams that are top 13 in center's points per game allowed, he has gone over 14.5 points in five of six games this season, with the one miss being on the hook (14 points). Zubac has also been playing much better on the road so far this season. On the road, he is averaging 20.5 points vs. 14.9 at home. The Rockets are top 10 in total fouls as well, so I do think Zubac will have plenty of trips to the line. Over the past two seasons, Zubac has had a much better free throw % on the road at 77.6% last season and 66.7% this season (opposed to 67.8% and 60%). I love this spot tonight for Zubac and think he has a big night!
