Mavericks vs. Grizzlies Same-Game Parlay Pick: Back This +423 SGP for NBA Play-In Tournament

The Dallas Mavericks have survived to the final NBA Play-In Tournament game on Friday night, where they enter as 6-point underdogs on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies. Jason Radowitz thinks they have the fight for an upset, and has put together a three-leg same-game parlay for Mavericks vs. Grizzlies tonight, with only one team making the NBA Playoffs.

Mavericks vs. Grizzlies Same-Game Parlay Pick: Back This +423 SGP for NBA Play-In Tournament

The Dallas Mavericks will battle the Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference. The winner of tonight's Play-In Tournament finale will earn the right to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Dallas Mavericks have been making more headlines in the second half of the season. After making the NBA Finals last year, Dallas traded away Luka Doncic, which didn't sit well with fans. However, the Mavericks insisted they were looking to beef up their defense and added Anthony Davis in the blockbuster trade. Davis has been terrific during his time with the Mavericks. However, he missed most of the second half with an injury he sustained in his first game with the Mavericks. Additionally, as Davis was recovering, Kyrie Irving tore his ACL, which ultimately finished his season. He won't even be back to start next year's season. Yet, the Mavericks can still make the playoffs with a win tonight. On the other hand, the Grizzlies felt they underperformed this season. Therefore, Memphis decided to fire Taylor Jenkins on March 28th. The firing occurred at an unusual time, as the Grizzlies were in the midst of a playoff run. Jenkins established himself as the winningest coach in franchise history, but that wasn't enough to keep his job for the remainder of the season. When Jenkins was fired, the Grizzlies were 5th in the Western Conference standings. Now, they're in the Play-In Tournament and already lost their first game to the Golden State Warriors for the No. 7 seed. The Mavericks have all the momentum. That said, I've made a same-game parlay for tonight's 8th seed game. Check it out below.

NBA Same Game Parlay - Dallas Mavericks vs. Memphis Grizzlies

Leg 1: Dallas Mavericks +6 (-106)

The Dallas Mavericks scored 131.9 points per 100 possessions in their first Play-In Tournament game against the Sacramento Kings. The Mavericks shot a 62.3% effective field goal percentage and limited turnovers to below 10% in that game. Meanwhile, the defense also held its own, limiting the Kings to 107.7 points per 100 possessions. The Mavericks allowed just an 11.8 free-throw rate on defense and forced almost 20% of turnovers. The Mavericks will need to improve on the glass, but they did a lot of things right in their latest game. On the other hand, the Grizzlies lost to the Warriors in their first Play-In Tournament matchup. Memphis turned the ball over 20.4% of the time and fouled the Warriors at a super high rate. That said, the Grizzlies still earned 40.9% of offensive rebounds and should stay alive with their dominance on the offensive glass. However, you can't rebound missed shots with many turnovers. Look for the Mavericks to win the turnover battle and pull off the upset. To play it safe, we'll take them at +6.

Leg 2: Desmond Bane Over 5.5 Rebounds (-144)

Desmond Bane has added at least six rebounds in three consecutive games. He's also hit this line in 56% of games this season and has added at least six rebounds in 8 of 13 games against the Mavericks.

Ultimately, the Mavericks rank dead last in rebounds allowed to shooting guards. They also rank 29th in offensive rebounds allowed and 28th in defensive rebounds allowed to shooting guards.

Meanwhile, Bane has added an average of nine rebound chances per game over the last ten games. He's also had at least ten rebound chances in six of his last 10 games. Those chances should be there against the Mavericks tonight. Let's take his over.

Leg 3: Santi Aldama Under 1.5 Threes (-106)

The Mavericks don't really allow power forwards to take a bunch of threes per game. The Mavericks rank fourth in the NBA in three-pointers attempted via power forwards this season. Beyond that, the Mavericks rank 12th in three-pointers made to power forwards this season.

That said, Santi Aldama has recorded at least two threes in just two of 12 games against the Mavericks since 2021. He's only hit one three-pointer in his last two games combined against the Mavericks. Plus, over the last ten games, Aldama has hit just 33.5% from downtown and has attempted 5.4 threes per game.

Yet, over the last five games, Aldama's three-point attempts have dipped to 3.8 per game. Against the Mavericks, he doesn't have an easy matchup. Grab the Under.

Mavericks vs. Kings Same-Game Parlay (+423) (Bet $100 to Collect $523)

  • Leg 1: Dallas Mavericks +6 (-106)
  • Leg 2: Desmond Bane Over 5.5 Rebounds (-144)
  • Leg 3: Santi Aldama Under 1.5 Threes (-106)
